Acoustic Sunday with JK Jones, Mike Berman w/ Ed Tree, and Brent Hahn
Three excellent songwriters on one bill!
JK Jones is renowned for her moving note-perfect renditions from the Joni Mitchell songbook, but she is an outstanding songwriter in her own right. This performance will include original songs that will be featured on her debut album to be released in Fall 2025. JK will be backed by Lauren Lundeen, Jonathan Dale, and Brent Hahn.
Mike Berman writes compelling and moving songs, with rich storytelling and emotional content. He's been performing at venues across Southern California as well as in the Northeast US, but returns to Jeweled Universe to feature a mix of songs from his extensive catalog as well as a couple of new ones. Mike's performance will feature Ed Tree on guitar as well as Brent Hahn on the bass.
Brent Hahn is a smart, incisive, and often humorous songwriter with a unique take on the world. Whether he's speculating on how the things might be different if George W. Bush could hit a curveball, confronting his stuff in a storage closet, or singing a farewell to whisky, his excellent lyrics and strong melodies carry the listener along with him.
